5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Be Scared to Travel to Mexico

If you’re an American or Canadian citizen, you may be surprised to learn that Mexico is one of the safest countries in the world to visit. However, this fact isn’t as widely known as it should be, and some people are still concerned about going there. If you’re not scared to travel to Mexico and want to see what it has to offer you, check out the following five reasons why you shouldn’t be scared to travel to Mexico and why this amazing country should be at the top of your bucket list today!

1) There are plenty of safe places to travel in Mexico
Mexico has plenty of safe places to travel. From the bustling city of Guadalajara in the west, to the serene beaches and resorts on the Pacific coast, this country has something for everyone. While it can be tempting to stick with what you know, there are many reasons why you shouldn’t be scared to travel to Mexico. First, even though the media often reports about kidnappings and crime, these incidents happen mainly in border towns or other parts of the country where tourists don’t typically go. Secondly, when people think about traveling to Mexico they often only think about large cities like Cancun or Acapulco. However, if you’re looking for a more authentic experience then you should consider traveling inland to discover beautiful colonial towns like Oaxaca or Antigua.

2) The people are friendly and welcoming
The people of Mexico are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. When you walk down the streets in a new city, they will greet you with buenas or buenos días (depending on the time) and ask you how your day is going. They are happy and eager to help if you need directions or want to know where a good place for dinner is. Prices are lower than those in America: Everything from flights, food and even souvenirs can be found at lower prices when compared to those in America.

3) The food is delicious
The food is delicious, the people are friendly and there’s a lot of culture to explore. The country is diverse and you never know what you’re going to find on your next visit. Yes, it’s true that there have been some violent incidents in the past but that doesn’t mean you should be scared. The most important thing for you to do when traveling abroad is not letting fear rule your life. You can also travel with a good map app like Google Maps so if anything were ever to go wrong, all the locals would speak English and they’ll help us navigate our way back home safely.

4) The culture is rich and interesting
Mexico is full of culture and history. It’s a country with a rich and interesting past that you can learn about on your travels. The food is delicious, the people are friendly and the beaches are beautiful. So, if you’re thinking about visiting Mexico, don’t be scared – it’s safe. In fact, millions of Americans visit each year. And besides all the amazing places to explore in Mexico, there’s also Mexican resorts like Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa in Punta Mita which offers beach-front luxury vacations just steps away from its own secluded beach.

5) You’ll have an amazing time!
Don’t let the news scare you away from taking a vacation in Mexico. With so many beautiful attractions and wonderful people, it is no wonder that tourism has been on the rise! From great food to stunning beaches, don’t miss out on all of the fun. There are also plenty of amazing cities to explore like Guadalajara or Monterrey. So get your passport ready, pack your bags, and plan your Mexican adventure now!

Cancun Mexico Family Packages: Travel on a Budget

Cancun has long been the jewel of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, attracting tourists from all over the world thanks to its pristine beaches and Caribbean blue waters. However, Cancun’s popularity also makes it one of the most expensive family vacation destinations in the world, with resorts and dining that rival even those in Hawaii or other tropical paradises. Fortunately, there are ways to travel to this tropical paradise without paying through the nose, allowing you to enjoy the natural wonders that make Cancun such a great destination without breaking the bank! Here’s how!

Travel Cashbacks and Packages
When traveling to Cancun, there are many packages that can be found. These packages include food, drinks, excursions and transportation. Depending on the type of trip you want to take and your budget for travel, you can find the perfect package for your needs. For example, if you want an all-inclusive vacation, there are several restaurants and bars at the resort to choose from. You also have access to pools with swim up bars and daily entertainment shows. For those looking for an adventure filled experience in Cancun, this is not the best option. The all-inclusive resort provides what most travelers look for; however, they offer activities like swimming with dolphins or snorkeling off of the coast which may not fit into everyone’s plan.

Finding the Right Package
It’s not always easy to travel with your family, especially when it comes to budgeting for it. Luckily, there are plenty of affordable options for you and your family to enjoy your vacation in Cancun. For starters, why not try renting a condo? There are many condos available at reasonable prices, which will also give you the opportunity to experience all the amenities that come with living in Cancun. Another option is to stay at one of the many resorts in town. These resorts offer more activities than just relaxing by the pool so you’ll never get bored. Finally, if you’re looking for something close to home but still want some beach time, consider taking a bus or plane ride down here!

All-Inclusive or Not?
When deciding to travel with your family, it is important to consider the type of vacation you are interested in. If you are looking for an all-inclusive experience where everything is taken care of, then that is a great option. If you are looking for something more budget friendly and adventurous, then you might want to consider staying at one of the many resorts throughout Cancun Mexico and exploring the area for fun things to do. You can also go fishing or golfing while being entertained by local folk music at night. Another idea would be to spend your days visiting one of the beautiful beaches along the coast. The Mexican Riviera is full of activities for every traveler!

Transportation Matters
If you’re traveling to Cancun from the US, you will typically fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). From there, you can take a taxi or shuttle service to your destination. It may be more affordable for your family to use public transportation instead of taxis or shuttles. There are two major bus stations in the city and they are located near each other. The bus station in Zone 4 serves destinations outside of Cancun, while the one in Zone 5 serves destinations inside the city. To make things easier, keep in mind that zones correspond with the letters ZA-ZO on street signs around town. If you want to go to Playa del Carmen or Tulum, both touristy areas south of Cancun, catch a bus at Zone 5. For Cozumel Island or Chichen Itza Ruins (both north of Cancun), head to Zone 4.

Packing Tips
Staying organized and packing light will make your trip to Cancun even more enjoyable. For example, have everyone in the family pack their clothing in separate bags so that you don’t have to sort through piles of dirty clothes when you get home from your vacation. Plus, it’ll be easier for you to find certain outfits in the morning if you know where they are. If you’re not sure what to wear, check out some travel videos by other families who’ve been there. It’s always fun to see what others recommend!

Combi Buses are the Way to Travel in Cancun, Mexico

If you’re planning to travel in Cancun, Mexico by bus, you may be confused by all the different transportation options available to you. You could take a combi bus or taxi from the airport to the hotel or resort of your choice, but what if you want to go somewhere else? If that’s the case, it can be helpful to know about some other Cancun transportation options, whether you’re planning an extended stay or just on vacation in Mexico for a few days.

What is a combi bus?
Combi buses are public transportation vehicles that run on routes throughout all of Cancun. You can hop on a combi bus at any time and just pay a small fee. If you want to get off before your stop, you’ll have to tell the driver. You’ll be able to see what your current stop is by looking out of the window or asking someone nearby where it is. You’re not allowed to smoke inside the bus, but if you’re feeling hungry there’s usually food available for purchase. Finally, combi buses are air-conditioned, so even if it’s hot outside it will still feel cool inside when you ride one.

Where can you find them?
The combi buses can be found all over town and at various bus stops. They come in all shapes and sizes. The smaller ones have a capacity of 10-12 people while the larger ones have a capacity of 30-40 people. To board a combi bus you need to go up to one of the doors and either show your ticket or pay on board. Once you find a seat feel free to enjoy the ride! When you get off just tell the driver where you want to get off and they will let you know when it’s time.

How much do they cost?
Traveling by combi bus is a great way to get around while also saving money. For example, you can purchase a combi bus ticket for $.50 – $1.00 USD (about 10-20 pesos). There’s no other way to travel more economically than that! If you plan on staying in the city of Cancun during your trip, then getting around with a combi bus is the best option. But if you’re looking to explore outside of town and venture into the Mayan Riviera or Playa Del Carmen area, then renting a car may be better suited for you. However, this method will cost much more than taking a combi bus. Still, it all depends on what type of traveler you are.

What are the benefits of taking a combi bus?
While combi buses may not be as luxurious or convenient as a taxi or Uber, they have their own benefits. For one thing, they’re cheap! A ride on a combi bus costs less than $2 USD round-trip. Plus, combi buses offer an authentic local experience that can’t be found with other modes of transportation. It’s easy to spot a combi because it’s usually brightly colored and has two levels: the top level is where passengers pay for their ticket and get off, while the bottom level is where passengers wait for riders and get on. Riders typically take a seat wherever there’s available space and drivers often allow passengers to hang out by the door if there’s no space inside.
